MEKALOC™ Refillable Lock, Reuse, Recycle, Repeat
A Refillable, Recyclable PET Mono-material Mechanism that prevents the bullet’s formulation from being swiveled up unless the Mekaloc is snapped into its Base Fashion Part. Kemas currently have 3 types of MEKALOC™ Design to support different hot pour formulation SKUs for the Brands.
According to research, if only 10% of plastic products were recycled, it would result in a 50% reduction in the amount of waste plastic that ended up in the ocean. More than ten percent of the plastic product will be recycled and reused by the Mekaloc Mechanism packaging type, which is one way that we are hoping to contribute to a reduction in the quantity of waste plastic that is discarded into the environment.
Furthermore, the added benefit of this innovation will also impact the Brands by preventing the Brand’s revenue loss from customers who just purchased the refilled cartridge for usage.
